S.P.E.E.D. Unit stands for ”Special Protection Ecology Environment Diving” Unit. It consists of a group of divers handpicked and launched by GUWAA President Kristijan Curavic. It is the first ecological diving team in the world aimed at cleaning the seabed, rivers, and lakes worldwide.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this year's Global Underwater Cleanup and Protection Day! Because of the bad weather conditions, many diving centers worldwide had to postpone the cleanup and we didn't succeed to set a Guinness World Record.
