MISSION

Speed Unit divers, that come from different countries, are tied together by a common goal, a mission: to protect, preserve and clean seas, lakes, and rivers. After spending their whole life living by the sea, it influenced their character in a way that they decided to give something back. This unit represents the true heroes and role models for the young generation that will one day decide to become like them.

An important part of S.P.E.E.D. Unit’s work is promoting friendship, tolerance, equal rights and bringing countries together in order to achieve the same objective, and that is to protect the most valuable natural resource of them all: water. One of the Unit’s goals is to raise awareness of the environmentally safe behaviour and activities of every individual and organization – think global, act local.

Guinness World Record LogoWe want to thank everyone who participated in this year's Global Underwater Cleanup and Protection Day! Because of the bad weather conditions, many diving centers worldwide had to postpone the cleanup and we didn't succeed to set a Guinness World Record.
Next year we are going to organize the 3rd World Underwater Cleanup and Protection Day and we will attempt to set the record again!
