WHITE FLAG IN PULA, CROATIA
On September 17th 2013. Global Underwater Awareness Association, in cooperation with Arenaturist, awarded Verudela beach (Pula, Croatia) with the White Flag, a symbol of clean seas, lakes and rivers from man-made waste.
After the cleanup and inspection, we organized ceremony award in presence of GUWAA's President Mr. Kristijan Curavic, Mr. Rade Serbedzija, Mr. Stjepan Mesic (former President of Croatia), hotel director Mr. Reli Slonim and Mr. Boris Miletic (Major of city Pula).
This is another significant recognition of Arenaturist Company considering that it has become an important part of the world's largest organization for systematic cleaning, protection and preservation of seas and oceans for present and future generations.
Thus, Arenaturist ensure regular checks and cleaning with the help of GUWAA diving team, assistance in case of natural disasters and coordination of cooperation with other marinas / beaches, and proves its commitment to sustainable development in tourism today in our region.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this year's Global Underwater Cleanup and Protection Day! Because of the bad weather conditions, many diving centers worldwide had to postpone the cleanup and we didn't succeed to set a Guinness World Record.
